The Hyöky shorts are made of a cotton and linen blend twill, and they have a relaxed fit with wide trouser legs. The shorts feature the Vesi pattern, which is printed in Helsinki, and they have a jean button closure with a zipper in the front and slanted side pockets. There are pleats from the waistband in the front and back.

Stripes have always been essential to the world of Marimekko patterns. Vesi (water) is a delicate, narrow vertical stripe designed by Maija Isola in the late 1970s.
