Maija Isola designed Unikko to be an abstraction of a flower rather than a photorealistic rendition. It emerged as part of a broader series of floral abstractions. Piirto Unikko
is an airy variation of Unikko, Maija Isola's iconic 1964 print. It nods to minimalism while emphasizing the graphic lines of the Unikko pattern.
Heijastus Unikko

Vesi Unikko
