We hope you’ve had a wonderful start to 2025, and are looking forward to what the rest of the year has in store. We had such a fantastic 2024, celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Unikko and the launch of Maridenim—what an exciting year it has been for the Marimekko community.
We are thrilled to share another exciting update with you. For years, Marimekko Vancouver has shared a retail space with our sister store, Design House Vancouver. Now, the two stores are joining forces to become one!
This collaboration will allow us to offer all Marimekko products through the Design House Vancouver website, expanding our selection and enhancing your shopping experience.
With this transition, you’ll now be able to shop not only our full range of Marimekko products but also explore the incredible brands that Design House Vancouver offers, including Blu Dot, Alessi, Kartell, Chilewich, and many more. It’s a wonderful opportunity to bring you an even broader selection of stylish, design-forward products.

Q: Can I still shop via the Marimekko Vancouver website?
A: Only for a short while. At the end of March, we will be making a full transition, selling exclusively through Design House Vancouver’s website. We suggest diving right into the Design House website to get a feel for it, and making future purchases from there.
Q: I'm subscribed to the email newsletters -- will I still be receiving them?
A: Yes! If you’re currently subscribed to the Marimekko mailing list, we will continue to send out updates regarding new products, sales, etc. We do, however, encourage you to also subscribe to the Design House Vancouver newsletter! Click the button below.
Q: Does this change anything about the in-store shopping experience?
A: Nope! If anything, it only makes things more convenient than before. We can now process purchases of Marimekko products as well as products from Design House’s other brands within one transaction.
