The Mono Backpack is made of organic cotton, and it features the Siluetti pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. The large Marimekko “M” is printed in the front. The backpack has a zipper closure, adjustable shoulder straps, and two open pockets in the front. There is a large open pocket on the inside big enough to fit a laptop. The ends of the zipper can be attached to the sides of the bag with snap buttons.

The Siluetti (silhouette) pattern depicts how the colors of the sky and sea melt into each other on the horizon. Carina Seth Andersson painted the thin, irregular stripes in varying hues with long strokes of a stiff brush.
