The Hafdis trousers are made of nicely draping cupro in the Näkki pattern. The trousers have an elastic waistband and side seam pockets. The trouser legs are loose and straight. The straight trousers have a relaxed fit.

Cupro is an artificial fibre made from cellulose that requires less water, fertilizers, and pesticides to grow than for example cotton.

Maija Isola’s artwork covers an amazingly wide range of motifs and design techniques. The Näkki (male water spirit) print displays a wavy rhythm of dense stripes.
