Wool

AMONG THE BEST PROPERTIES OF WOOL ARE ITS THERMAL INSULATION PERFORMANCE, MOISTURE ABSORBENCY AND ELASTICITY.

Since wool is a natural fiber that is resistant to stains, airing is usually enough to make it clean and fresh. The ideal weather for airing is cold and damp.

Care tip #1 When it's time to wash the item, check the care label for exact instructions.

Care tip #2 Pilling (the formation of small balls of fuzz) may occur on the surface of a wool product because of abrasion, especially when it is new. Minor pilling is typical of all natural fiber products with a soft surface. Pilling is best removed by using a wool comb or by picking the pills off with your fingers. Care tip

#3 We recommend storing wool items folded up in an airy space.

Silk

SILK IS A LIGHT, FINE AND RESILIENT NATURAL FIBER THAT REPEATS COLORS BEAUTIFULLY.

It is important that your silk garment is loose enough to prevent seams from fraying.

Care tip #1 We recommend washing silk items gently in plenty of cool water with a detergent designed for silk. Washing them separately inside out will help keep the colors even. Check the care label for exact instructions – "wash by hand" should be taken literally. Avoid wringing and rubbing.

Care tip #2 Since silk is a delicate natural material, it is easily affected by chemicals such as perfumes or hairsprays. Sunlight may also weaken silk fibers and fade colors.

Care tip #3 Silk items are best ironed on the reverse side through a damp cloth. We recommend storing them in an airy space, for example, on a sturdy hanger.

Cotton

COTTON IS A SOFT NATURAL FIBER THAT IS BREATHABLE, ABSORBENT AND COMFORTABLE TO WEAR.

Cotton products are easy to care for – a cotton garment retains its original appearance when you follow these simple instructions.

Care tip #1 Follow the recommended washing temperature since washing at temperatures that are too low may cause color transfer. Strong-colored and patterned products should be washed inside out.

Care tip #2 It is advisable to wash dark and strong-colored items separately or with like colors in plenty of water as some dye may come off, especially in the first few washes. Soaking is not recommended.

Care tip #3 A cotton product may shrink in the first wash. Clothes should be reshaped into their original size after washing. Cotton items are best ironed when they are slightly damp.
